1. First Hand Experience on What Really Matters in Portal Projects: Invitation to Our Portal Academy on June 21th 2007 – limited number of participants: 20

As an exclusive offer to selected CIOs, WP-Experts present a special series of events. The first meeting of this so-called „Portal Academy“ is intended to provide basic but essential knowledge about successful portal projects as well as some useful dos and don’ts for the migration to WebSphere Portal 6.0. Another focus will be laid upon ready-to-use information on the efficient organization of the processes of deployment and on the implementation of a real SOA strategy in WebSphere Portal projects. This event will take place on June 21th 2007 in Cologne. Participation is free of charge, the number of participants, however, is limited to 20.

More information about the Portal Academy may be found on our website

2. www.websphere-consultants.com: New Website Pools Information for the WebSphere Community and Aims at Becoming a Project Proposal Platform
Up until now, anyone looking for information useful for his WebSphere project had to spend hours in searching for software functionality, case studies, and experienced service partners on loads of different websites. The new internet portal www.websphere-consultants.com, which went online on April 20th, pools all this information and provides a complete and comprehensive overview on all aspects of the WebSphere product portfolio. Furthermore, it offers detailed personal profiles of a number of leading portal professionals at WP-Experts and selected cooperation partners. Facts and features of successfully implemented projects round up the current list of contents. The inclusion of a common platform for bringing together providers and customers of WebSphere services, including advanced functionality like project proposals and community features, is already planned.

3. The Portal Audit: 10 Days to Put Your Portal Through Its Paces

You suffer from below-average performance in your WebSphere Portal environment? You face problems of portal instability or experience difficulties in your development process? You even begin to doubt whether you have chosen the right portal architecture? Questions like these are commonplace amongst today’s CIOs. A sure remedy for all these troubles is WP-Experts’ Portal Audit, which has been developed on the extensive experience gathered in years of diverse portal implementations. So far, Rhineland-based portal specialists WP-Experts are the only providers of such a standard service offering. In a maximum of 10 days the Portal Audit will result in a number of conclusive reviews on productive environment, configuration and overall infrastructure, as well as a performance check, details on conformity with security issues, and a whole load of other essential aspects.
