AssignmentImplementation of WebSphere Infrastructure PriceWaterhouseCoopers is currently implementing one of the largest WebSphere Portal projects in Germany. Based on disparate Internet- and Intranet-sites they are consolidating the content and applications into a customer portal (B2C) and employee Portal (B2E). These Portals support different user communities with a centralized access to all the information and applications they need. The project scope includes Single-Sign-On as well as personalization and access to many diverse backend systems. The Portal is implemented with WebSphere Portal 5.1 on WebSphere Application Server 6 in a high availability infrastructure. In total more than 100 Blade-Servers are used to run the environment.

Assignment“Best Portal 2005” AO Foundation Medical Portal AO Foundation is the world largest organization for clinical and scientific research for trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The task was to build a secure knowledge management Portal for 200,000 surgeons, integrating Documentum content. Domino and Sametime integration was required as well. For security Tivoli Access-Manager (WebSEAL) and Tivoli Policy Directory were used.
