Assignment The product is an ESB proprietary developed by the client. It is used a while and gets constantly enhanced. The main used transport mechanism is WebsphereMQ. However other protocols as Rendvous, SOAP, FTP etc. are used also. The client operates WebSphere Process Server and Tibco as additional integration platforms.
My task in this Project was the development of a prototype to use the WebSphere Process Server in the environment of the client, especially BPEL and Human Tasks. Furthermore I determined the Architecture of a JCA-Adapter to the ESB of the client and created a prototype
Lately I develop business adaptors on the earlier developed. Base. Primarily WebsphereMQ and WebsphereMQ Workflow are used.

Assignment The Product to create is used to mange loans. From placing, to controlling until debt collection. To do this information about the financial standing has to be collected form different sources (e.g. Schufa). The information gets assessed conforming to the guidelines of the customers (multitenant). The application is web-based. A J2EE Application server is used. A MDA is used for the development. The tools were MagicDraw and AndromMDA.
In the course of the project, the emphasis was on the development of interfaces to external information providers (Creditreform, Schufa, Fazi...). For that purpose XML-based technologies were used primarily. Another focus laid on the development of interface to SAP, using iWay-adapters.
Reasonable for the implementation of AspectJ into the project.

The system allowed the handling-companies to collect the data the postal companies are demanding from the airlines to implement Track&Trace for their postal items. Special constraints were the low resource consumption (has to be run capable from New York to Addis Abbeba); the communication between N handling companies an M airlines, the data security and the flexible integration into the numerous existing software environments. To accomplish this, a Service Oriented Architecture was developed.
